Yesterday, the Attorney General, Lord Hermer KC, hosted an eid and networking event for Muslim colleagues from across the justice family. This included members from across the Judicial Office, Ministry of Justice UK, Crown Prosecution Service, Government Legal Department and Serious Fraud Office (UK).
Eid ul Fitr marked the end of Ramadan, the period of month-long fasting for Muslims around the world. In the UK, Eid was celebrated on 30 and 31 March. This is the first such event the Attorney General has hosted, and the occasion helped bring colleagues together to discuss their work and strengthen collaboration.
