The support team
In our empowered way of working, an Execution lead doesn’t have a formal MT. The teams under the responsibility of the Execution Lead are supported by the support team. This support team aims to facilitate colleagues and enable them to take responsibility for achieving the goals and how they are realized. The support team consists of various roles: the Team Coach (supports team dynamics, a good performance dialogue, and team maturity), the FEC Expert (the content expert), and the People Coach (coaches the individual; conducts T&B dialogues and frequent one-on-ones) and is hierarchically positioned outside the unit of the Execution Lead. They support multiple teams and can use their expertise to help teams improve every day. Giving trust is important, and team members taking ownership and responsibility are central. If teams don’t act within the behavioral and performance frameworks set by the Execution Lead, the support team or Execution Lead steps in to support colleagues or teams to act within the framework. As Execution Lead, you stand for your teams, set the objectives based on the DFC Strategy, and make them concrete by attaching KPIs that apply to all teams within your unit.
