The County Court of Zagreb (Croatia) has convicted two individuals (including a public official) and a construction company of abuse of office and authority and of aiding and abetting those offences, following an investigation by the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) in Zagreb into the construction of a waste-sorting plant in Mihačeva Draga. This happened at the request of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) in Ostrava (Czechia), in close cooperation with the Police’s National Organised Crime Agency (Národní centrála proti organizovanému zločinu, NCOZ).
